Drifter23 are a New Country band from – of all places – the North East of England!

Formed in late 2008 by two songwriters who decided to combine forces into one great package, the music is a blend of country and soul filled rock.

Founder members Brian Emerson (Guitar) and Dee Dowling (Vocals and Bass) roped in the services of Rich Manley-Reeve (Guitar) and Steve Vine (Drums) to complete the lineup.

After getting together a 3 song demo and a MySpace page (http://www.myspace.com/drifter23music) they set out to gig both locally and further afield knowing their songs were strong. The band soon gained momentum,  securing a good fan base, and now only one year later they have over 150 shows under their belts,  over 200,000 profile views and 75,000 plays on their MySpace page.

So now is the time to step it a few gears with a new website  and 6 songs recorded live at our  recent sold-out performance at the famous Sage venue.
